To quickly onboard a global CRO whilst a major revamp of their own processes and systems was taking place.
The vendor needed to take on studies already underway at the same time as familiarizing themselves with our client whilst the vendors and our client were both learning new systems.
We were asked to develop a comprehensive onboarding program that would successfully manage this process.
Working with our client and the vendor, we created and implemented a Change Management & Communications plan that included a rigorous timeline and measurable Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
To help the new CRO implement the studies they had taken on while onboarding, we established an Early Adopters Program to provide them with real-time support.
We closed out the program with a series of post-workshop meetings to support the transition from onboarding to business as usual.

How we delivered these results:
We developed content, scheduled, and facilitated six onsite Process Workshops for CRO staff so they could learn about our clients policies and processes in context and build relationships with their counterparts. Each workshop was two to four days in length. We worked closely with our client’s Training workstream to ensure that all workshop participants were trained on the appropriate systems in advance of their workshop/s.
The onboarding program was so successful that, at our client’s request, we created a customizable Onboarding Playbook to ensured that the program could be adapted and carried out as needed for new study teams and vendors.
